Back-to-School Shake Special: AB & C Shake

Adaptogenic AB & C Shake (almond butter & chocolate)

shake recipe

Busy mornings mean little time to cook a well-rounded breakfast, but that's no excuse for missing a meal. Get your vitamins, protein and energy boost from this smoothie packed with the good stuff.

Made with adaptogens, plants that traditionally help the body resist stress, this is a form of Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine that have been used for centuries and recently resurfaced as popular (and amazing) ways to fuel your body.

This smoothie tastes like a chocolate milkshake, but has plenty of metabolism-boosting components like house-made brazil nut milk (which optimizes the thyroid gland, the regulator of our body’s metabolism), cinnamon (which aids in lipid oxidization – aka burning fat for energy) and beauty-boosting + cortisol-regulating adaptogens like maca.
